    More homeowners are smartening up their driveways than ever before, in a bid to beat impending planning legislation due out later this year. The number of householders opting to re-do their driveway has increased significantly in the last three months following the launch of the government’s Water Strategy 2008.     Aardvark Concrete has solidified its position as one of the UK’s leading building suppliers by clinching the sole distribution rights for specialist material placing vehicle, the Bay-Lynx MultiCat Spreader. The Stockport-based company – which to date has specialised predominantly in volumetric concrete supply – will become the only company in the country to sell the vehicle to UK and Republic of Ireland-based customers. Aardvark intends to extend distribution to mainland Europe in early 2010.
