In response to today’s appointment of Paul Morrell as Government’s Chief Construction Adviser, the Electrical Contractor’s Association (ECA) had the following comments: “The construction industry has gone through difficult times over recent years, with yet more uncertainty forecast. It is against this backdrop that I welcome Paul Morrell’s appointment to the role of Chief Construction Adviser.
With more than 35 years of experience at the coal face of industry, Paul’s knowledge of industry issues will be invaluable when tackling the challenges ahead. I especially welcome Paul’s expertise around procurement and construction economics, which will stand him in good stead as he helps shape policy into the next decade.
