In response to today’s appointment of Paul Morrell as Government’s Chief Construction Adviser, the Electrical Contractor’s Association (ECA) had the following comments: “The construction industry has gone through difficult times over recent years, with yet more uncertainty forecast. It is against this backdrop that I welcome Paul Morrell’s appointment to the role of Chief Construction Adviser.

I especially welcome Paul’s expertise around procurement and construction economics, which will stand him in good stead as he helps shape policy into the next decade.
